The new 2.4L Boxer motor (FA24D) powering the newest generation of the 86 definitely shored up some of the weaknesses of the original FA20. However, the car still suffers from a cooling system that isn’t adequate for high performance driving. We can only assume the new 86 will have a similar following and customer base as the first generation. That means tons of track days and autocross events that will push the cooling systems to the their limits. So why not get ahead of the curve? Prepare your GR86/BRZ for performance driving or just the really hot weather we know is coming.
Replace the weak plastic auxiliary filler neck of your GR86/BRZ with an all-aluminum 100% TIG-welded and mirror polished upgraded version from CSF. Complete with a 1.4bar high-pressure cap with a high-quality “mini style” radiator cap, embossed with the CSF logo. This cap style is most commonly used with high-performance aftermarket caps if you wish to replace the CSF cap with another brand.
