The HKS Hipermax IV SP coilover for the Honda S2000 is the more aggressive model in their line up. With spring rates of 16kg front and rear, these perform amazing on the track and auto-x. Don't let the higher spring rates scare you away from daily driving on these though. HKS has done their research on US roads, fine tuning the shocks to keep them compliant on the street as well.
HKS has developed it for a sporty drive. They have tested over and over with professional driver in TC2000 and Fuji Speedway short course for all other settings. The test result of rate is 16k/16k, but with newest technology, the ride is mild and have perfect control. With smooth movement will prevent from traction slip and with the dial adjustment, you can move weight as you want to. It has a special characteristic of weight movement and better grip. HKS have done the setting with AD08R high grip tires. If you don’t use such a high grip tires or circuit attack, they recommend 2k down for both front and rear.
