Developed for GT / Sports car and touring racing the Recaro P 1300 GT racing seat is one of a kind as it combines maximum safety and strength with personalized comfort. Constructed from a carbon composite with shock absorbing foam, the Recaro P 1300GT is ideal for professional or ultra high performance use. Special belt guides are featured for use with HANS systems and interchangeable cushion sets are available separately to customize the seat to the driver. To comply with FIA 8862-2009 regulations the Recaro P1300 GT LW seat must be used with specific adjustable mounts (sold separately). The adjustable mounts allow for 130mm of front to back adjustment which is ideal for where multiple drivers will be driving the same car. 

Recaro have taken the original P1300 GT seat and optimized the production process which has resulted in a weight reduction of approximately 1.3kg. The seat still meets the stringent FIA 8862-2009 homologation for 'Advanced racing seats' and carries a 10 year homologation. The Recaro P1300 GT LW seat is manufactured from carbon fibre reinforced plastic to reduce weight and give incredible strength and resilience. An integral head support reduced the risk of head and neck injuries in the event of a crash and the deep side bolsters offer high levels of lateral support and protection for the legs. Three different thicknesses of cushion are available separately to allow for a more personalized fit. To comply with FIA 8862-2009 regulations the Recaro P1300 GT LW seat must be used with specific adjustable mounts (sold separately).
