These FRP fenders by Chargespeed are the same D-1 Style Vented wide fenders used on their Project Evo IX for the track.
Each fender provides an additional 20mm flare on each side, allowing wider wheel fitment for aggressive traction and looks. Made of high quality fiberglass.
Depending on the brand, certain FRP/CFRP body panels (ie. fenders, side skirts, hoods, etc) may not have absolutely perfect fitment out of the box. We HIGHLY SUGGEST using a reputable body shop for your body panel fitment and installation. Note that returns will not be accepted if the panel has been modified for fitment. If you receive a body panel that has excessive warping out of the box, please do not hesitate in contacting us.
Most FRP and CFRP body paneling have GEL coating that gives a clear coat like finish. Don't be fooled by this, it is not an anti-UV protected GEL coating. The GEL coating can wear out from excessive UV exposure within a 6-month period (or less) and begin to fade and peel. We HIGHLY SUGGEST having your FRP/CFRP parts clear coated for protection against UV lighting and deterioration.
